For individuals with Alzheimer's Disease or other types of memory impairment, Stony Brook offers Taylor Commons, a separate, secure neighborhood of tastefully appointed suites with enhanced programming and an intimate, family-like atmosphere. Specially trained staff provide supportive services and nurturing attention 24 hours a day. Taylor Commons features an elegant dining room, a living room with a large-screen television, a community garden, a secured courtyard for outdoor activities, and much more.
