Making a Difference Through Your Generosity

Whether earmarked for general support or a specific purpose, your generosity continues to make a difference in the lives of our residents. In order to meet a variety of mission related needs as well as the desires of donors, charitable contributions to the Foundation may be designated in two ways:

Philanthropic contributions to the 21st Century Endowment Fund provide funding for many of the organization's charitable initiatives to support a wealth of initiatives, including the following:

• Life Enhancing services and programming that includes transportation programs, medical services supplements such as occupational therapy and physical therapy, chaplaincy programs and Senior Net -- an affordable housing assisted living program that offers a cost effective alternative to nursing home care.

• Resident Assistance for continuing care retirement residents who, through no fault of their own, have exhausted their resources.

• Grants Program gives each of our communities the opportunity to request funding for projects that will meet the special needs of their residents.

The Community Education Institute is our commitment to making a difference through education in our communities. The Foundation has taken the lead in providing comprehensive programs on topics of concern to older adults for our residents, staff, business leaders and friends in the community.

Community Funds

Our Community Funds are capital resources and endowment funds for the benefit of each continuing care retirement community. These funds, which are managed and operated by the Foundation, provide a means by which residents, their families and friends may make gifts directly to their community, meeting special capital and endowment needs and realizing their charitable dreams.
